The brief to the agency was to get calendars back on walls with a subject that balanced cause with beauty. The calendar leaves depict models in organic wear, wielding a primitive weapon in their role as green guardians. Inspired by The United Nations declaration of 2011 as ‘International Year of Forests.
Shot entirely in South Africa, with an international cast, stylists and crew, the images were widely acclaimed and till date, is one of our most celebrated works.
